Wairau Valley Tavern Your hosts: Dave and Nop Jackson   Located 27 km's from Renwick on State Highway 63 the tavern is an ideal place for a refreshment break. We have the coldest beer in Marlborough as well as cheap meals, pies, rolls and Thai food. This is available all day until 8pm. As well as Speights and Tui beers we also stock a full range of Matsons naturally brewed beers.  The tavern was first licensed in 1856 as an accomodation house but was rebuilt in 1880 after a fire. The building remains much the same as it did then with the bar area holding many old relics of times gone by. Well worth a stop for a cold ale, good meal or snack and a yarn.
